A timeshare can sound like a great idea, especially when you’re at a fancy resort sipping free drinks and listening to a slick presentation from a professional sales staff. But if you sign on the dotted line you may find yourself tied in perpetuity (that means forever) to ever-rising fees for timeshare weeks that never seem to be available. Timeshare Cures says they can get you out of that contract … for a price.
Can they really do it?

Timeshare Cures Says They Help Thousands of Clients Each Year
Timeshare Cures is based in Branson, Mo., a popular tourist destination with many timeshare resorts. The company was registered with the Missouri Secretary of State in April 2014.
Timeshare Cures identifies itself on its website as a “deed and title company.” They state that they can help if you have problems with your timeshare and claim to have helped thousands of clients every year. They also describe a “100% satisfaction guarantee.”
Timeshare Cures does not tell you how they help, the methods they use to get you out of your timeshare and which services are guaranteed.
What Do They Actually Do?
Most companies that promise an escape from a timeshare use one of two approaches.
- Timeshare sales companies promise to find a buyer for your timeshare or to help you rent your timeshare.
- Timeshare exit companies promise to negotiate with the company with the goal of canceling the contract completely and releasing you from all obligations connected to your timeshare.
It is not clear what approach Timeshare Cures uses. Their Facebook page says this:
Timeshare Cures, LLC is a title transfer office. We can transfer ownership of your timeshare. The process is not contingent on the timeshare selling!
There is no indication of who your title would be transferred to or how this process takes place.
One customer wrote of the process:
Timeshare Cures Timeshare Exit Costs
Timeshare Cures does not provide any pricing information on its website. This is common in the timeshare exit industry — most companies base pricing on the specific requirements of a case. The company does offer a free initial consultation. They will review your case, tell you what they can do to help and quote a price.
Reviews suggest that clients typically pay from $1,000 to $4,000 for services provided by Timeshare Cures and that these payments are made upfront. No reviews describe the use of an escrow service or any other system that makes payment contingent on performance.
Can You Trust Timeshare Cures?
We have two trust issues with Timeshare Cures right from the start.
First, as we mentioned above, the website says absolutely nothing about what the company does or how it gets timeshare holders out of their commitments. This leaves a lot of questions.
Second, the Company states from the start that they can help any timeshare owner. Most credible timeshare exit companies make it clear from the start that they can only successfully assist timeshare owners who meet certain criteria.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) lists Timeshare Cures as “unaccredited,” but gives it an “A” rating, and the company earns 4.33 out of 5 stars from customers. That has to be taken with caution. There are a very small number of reviews, and BBB grades are based on the company’s responsiveness to complaints on the BBB website.
A note on the BBB website deals specifically with the advertising approach used by Timeshare Cures:
The company’s failure to respond or to clarify these questions is not a positive sign.
Online Reputation
A limited number of Timeshare Cures reviews are available online. The BBB page, for example, has six reviews and no complaints.
On Google Reviews the Company has 15 reviews with an average rating of 3.7. One review has some detail:
On Facebook, the company has 30 positive reviews/recommendations. None of them contain any detail about the services rendered or their outcome. On Yelp, the company has one five-star review.
The overall number of reviews is minimal, and most contain little or no helpful information. After reading the reviews, we still have no clear idea of what the company does, how it works to liberate timeshare owners and whether it gets real results.
What’s Good About Timeshare Cures?
- Free initial consultation
- Some reviews claim successful resolutions
- Claimed “100% satisfaction guarantee”
What’s Bad About Timeshare Cures?
- No clear indication of what the Company does to release clients from timeshare obligations
- No clear statement of what is guaranteed and under what conditions
- Willing to accept any timeshare owner without qualification
- Upfront payments with no escrow option
- Reviews are too limited to reach any conclusion

Timeshare Cures’ Website
The Timeshare Cures Website looks professional at first glance. The photo of dark skies looming over a beach nicely illustrates the “Trouble in Paradise” slogan. The promise “We Can Help” sounds positive. If you scroll down, you’ll see a promise of a free consultation, a guarantee of satisfaction, and a statement that the company understands “all the ins and outs of the timeshare system.”
The site contains an FAQ section with information and commentary about timeshares, the deceptive sales practices used to sell them and the various costs and risks. If you’re trying to get out of a timeshare contract, you are probably familiar with those.
What you will not find on the website is any detail or general idea of what exactly Timeshare Cures will do to get you out of your timeshare. Here’s what Timeshare Cures has to say about themselves:
We understand and genuinely care about all timeshare owners.
Timeshare Cures is a deed and title company that has serviced the fulfillment of getting timeshare owners out of unwanted timeshare’s since 2013. Timeshare Cures has the very best staff and their professionalism is the foundation that sets us apart from similar companies. Despite the thousands of clients we service annually, when you call our office, your concerns are addressed and your needs are met with empathy, compassion, and urgency. We understand and genuinely care about all timeshare owners. Located right in the heart of Branson, MO, our door is always open. If you are visiting Branson on vacation, feel free to stop by and meet our team. For more information on Timeshare Cures, feel free to contact us no matter your timeshare situation.
Apart from the statement that Timeshare Cures is “a deed and title company,” there is nothing there to tell you what they actually do. There is a link labeled “Satisfaction Guarantee” that we hoped would have more information about the guarantee, but it only leads to a contact form. The “reviews” link lists the reviews from the Facebook page.
The site is visually appealing, but it does not contain the information that a potential customer would need to decide whether to use the company.
Social Media Presence
Timeshare Cures’ Facebook page has two components: the main profile page and a community page.
The primary page, Timeshare Cures, LLC, has basic information about the company, including the statement that they can transfer ownership of a timeshare without a sale. A cartoon was posted last January; before that, the page was last updated in 2017. Most of the posts discuss timeshare problems and none have any user engagement.
The second component, TimeshareCures/community/, has even less content. It was last updated in 2018. There are several posts from apparently satisfied customers (including three from the same customer), but only 12 posts, none with significant engagement or information about the company.
The company started a Twitter feed in 2014 but posted only a single tweet.
The LinkedIn page has 332 followers but little content. Under “Experience” the company lists “Timeshare Deed and Title Transfers, Contract Cancellations, and Mortgage Relief”, suggesting that Timeshare Cures may be engaged in negotiating the cancellation of contracts. Still, there’s no detail or specific information. There are no posts on the page.
The Bottom Line
We don’t have enough information about Timeshare Cures to state categorically whether it gets legitimate results.
What we do know is that they request payment upfront, and that’s never a good idea. It leaves you vulnerable if a company suddenly shuts down and files for bankruptcy (and it happens) and you should never hand over a large check without getting some pretty solid details of a company’s timeshare exit strategy.
