Timeshare Answers Ratings and Reviews: Check It Before You Exit Your Timeshare

Trying to get out of a timeshare contract can be a huge and complicated hassle. This is why a lot of timeshare owners turn to exit companies to help them navigate the process.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of shady actors out there. Figuring out which timeshare exit company is legit and which one is going to scam you can be difficult. It is important to take the time to learn everything you can before you sign anything or hand over any money. And there are a lot of questions about Timeshare Answers.

Who is Timeshare Answers and What Do They Do?

It’s hard to figure out exactly who is behind Timeshare Answers. This isn’t exactly rare. Plenty of timeshare companies — whether they’re selling or promising to help you dump yours — change names often. They do this so that they can stay ahead of lawsuits and bad press. That may not necessarily be the case with Timeshare Answers. Still, it’s a little concerning that. In a 2020 review, TimeshareExitCompanies.com, wrote:

“It looks like Timeshare Answers owns several different domain names including the following:

  • Timeshare-answers.com
  • Timeshare-help.com
  • Timesharescamhelp.com
  • Timeshare-question.com
  • timesharecancelservices.com

We can tell these are all the same company because the phone number or the address of the business is the same on all the sites.”

When we tested the sites, the only one still in operation was timesharecancelservices.com. The company advertising on this URL does call itself Timeshare Answers (at least it does at the time of this writing).

Timeshare Answers, according to timesharecancelservices.com, was founded in 2009 in Florida and claims to be “#1 in Timeshare Refunds!” They say they “specialize in timeshare refunds and timeshare contract cancellation.” They also offer “mortgage cancellation,” “money recovery” and “credit protection.” There is no information about who founded the business.

According to their site, however, in 2015, they were “the only company in the timeshare cancellation industry who is licensed with the Division of Consumer Services.”

This sounds pretty important. Of course, every state has a Division of Consumer Services (or something akin to it), and the website does not specify which state issued their license.

Assuming the site is referring to the Florida DoCS, we ran a search for “Timeshare Answers.” Our search turned up one result. A business license was issued to “Integrity Marketing Solutions LLC.” Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC operates out of the same address listed on the timesharecancelservices.com website. The license was issued in 2010 and is good through 2022. The type of license issued is for a “Commercial Telephone Seller.”

Not a good sign.

Timeshare Answers Timeshare Exit Costs

According to their website, Timeshare Answers takes an average of six months to get their clients out of their timeshare contracts. Their FAQs also state that consultations are free and payment is “due when services are rendered.”

Other than that, there is zero information about how much Timeshare Answers charges its clients.

Can You Trust Timeshare Answers?

The short answer so far seems to be “No.” Still, it’s worth noting that some companies simply aren’t great at marketing themselves. This is why organizations like the Better Business Bureau and sites like Trust Pilot exist, right? Here’s what they had to say.

The Better Business Bureau

There is no “Timeshare-Answers” listed with the Better Business Bureau. The company that owns the license, Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC does have a listing.

It’s not great.

Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC does not have Better Business Bureau accreditation. As of this writing, the BBB gives Integrity Marketing Solutions an F. A total of 55 complaints were filed against Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC. Fifty-one of those complaints were closed in the last twelve months because the company failed to respond to them.

It gets even less impressive.

In addition to Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC, a company called “Integrity Marketing Ventures LLC” is listed with the Better Business Bureau. Integrity Marketing Ventures lists the same street and suite address as Integrity Marketing Solutions.

Integrity Marketing Ventures LLC has not been accredited by the BBB. It currently has a C+ rating. Though the listing says Integrity Marketing Ventures LLC has been in business for twelve years (the same amount of time as Integrity Marketing Solutions LLC), there are zero customer reviews listed. There is, however, one complaint filed. It was closed within the past year.

From there it gets even more ominous.

Timeshare Freedom LLC is yet another company listed with the BBB as having the same address as Timeshare Answers, Integrity Marketing Solutions LLC, and Integrity Marketing Ventures LLC.

Timeshare Freedom LLC has an A+ rating with the BBB, because it has zero customer reviews and zero customer complaints. This listing, instead of linking to timesharecancelservices.com, links to timeshare-answers.com. When you click the link you come to an “Under Construction” page that tells you to either call them or visit them at timesharecancelservices.com

Trustpilot

There are no listings or reviews for Timeshare Answers, Timeshare Cancel Services, Integrity Marketing Solutions LLC or Integrity Marketing Ventures LLC, or Timeshare Freedom LLC on TrustPilot.

Online Reputation

The reviews for Timeshare Answers (or any of its other nom de plumes) are not great. Here is the most recent review listed on the Better Business Bureau’s page for Integrity Marketing Solutions, LLC:

Interestingly, while completely absent from Trustpilot, there is a Yelp profile for Timeshare Answers. There are a total of three reviews on it. Only two of them are listed. You have to click to find the third, which reads

The other two reviews aren’t any better, so it’s strange that Yelp would have this specific review marked as “not recommended.”

The most interesting review of Timeshare Answers didn’t come from any of the usual review sites or social media profiles. We found it on Just Answer

Just Answer is a website where people can ask questions and have them answered by experts in the question’s subject matter. As you can imagine, the Just Answer Law page is very popular among timeshare owners. Here is the question posed about Timeshare Answers:

Timeshare Answers’ Website

As previously mentioned the “official” (we’re guessing) site for Timeshare Answers, timeshare-answers.com, simply directs searchers to an “under construction” page.

We also found a WordPress.com blog for someone calling themselves Timeshare Answers, who is located at the same address used on all the Better Business Bureau listings we found. That blog, though, stopped updating in 2014.

Since all the BBB profiles we found listed the timesharecancelservices.com website as their official web address, let’s look at it.

Timesharecancelservices.com

Unlike the first two options, this looks like a real company’s website. The company’s name seems to be “Timeshare Answers” and the site’s header features the company’s hours of operation and a contact number in big bold type, along with links to Facebook and Twitter profiles.

The website is laid out well and has lots of great stock photography to make it easy to scroll. There are also several impressive rolling counters totaling up the amount of money the company has supposedly saved its customers. There is a page for frequently asked questions and even a timeshare calculator.

The most promising page looks like it should be the “Contract Releases” page. This page is supposedly where site visitors can look at documents that prove Timeshare Answers has helped customers free themselves from their burdensome timeshare contracts.

Style vs. Substance

If you were just scrolling through, Timeshare Answers would look like a pretty impressive company. When you actually read the content on the site and look carefully at the “contract releases”, however, you’ll notice that everything is a little…vague.

Apart from the company’s address, there is no verifiable information listed on this website. There is no information about who founded the company. There is no information about fees.

Even the sample contract cancellations are vague — every bit of verifiable information (including dollar amounts) is blacked out. A lot of the “releases” are not actual contracts at all. They are simply notes typed on official-looking letterhead about “enclosed release forms” and “enclosed contracts” that need signatures, etc.

As for the contact information — when we dialed the 800 number listed in the header, all we got was a loud beep and then the call was disconnected.

Even the social media links in the header are fake. They don’t link to anything. They are just icons.

Social Media Presence

Just to be sure, we did a search for Timeshare Answers social media accounts. Here’s what we found.

There is a Timeshare Answers Twitter account. Its header image matches the main image on timesharecancelservices.com so it’s a fairly safe bet they’re the same company. This Twitter account hasn’t been updated since 2018.

There is also a Timeshare Answers Facebook page. The most recent review on the page seems positive…until you realize that it isn’t for Timeshare Answers at all, but some vague Karen (literally) who is helping the reviewer with Forex.

The recent FB reviews for Timeshare Answers all say pretty much the same thing: the reviewer paid thousands of dollars to Timeshare Answers and then, a few months ago, the company just seemed to disappear, leaving the reviewer out thousands and still burdened with their timeshare.

The Bottom Line

You probably won’t want to do business with Timeshare Answers. In fact, as of this writing, you can’t do business with them. Their phone number does not work and based on the reviews; they don’t seem to respond to written requests for information. Save yourself time and money by working with a legit company instead.
